Cap Ingelec is a turnkey engineering company, created in 1992, classified B1+ by the Banque de France. This ranking, of which we are particularly proud, testifies to the confidence that our clients place in us for their complex projects, which have ensured our growth over the years. The success of our projects is based, of course, on a strong technical involvement, but also on the management skills of our teams.
Cap Ingelec is now one of the top 3 French engineering companies. Our independent company has carried out more than 20,000 turnkey engineering missions covering 4 major Strategic Business Areas (SBAs): Datacenter, Critical Facilities, Industry & Cleanrooms, Wines, Spirits & Agri-Foods.

35 YEARS OF DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION
Established in 1992 by Jean-Paul Calès along with his wife, Cap Ingelec celebrated 30 years of successfully-satisfying operations in 2022! A large, dedicated edifice retraces the company’s first 2 decades. Along the way, the company has successfully established a solid, global reputation by consistently employing its vast range of technical skills and know-how in industrial automation, and electrical/environmental engineering. We then applied our engineering know-how to project management and turn-key projects in numerous activity sectors via our various specialties: energy production, industrial processes, construction/renovation projects, datacenters, aerial navigation, hospital infrastructures, navigable routes and ports, just to name a few! Throughout all these years, we have continuously accumulated new expertise, ideas, and innovations to ensure greater energy-conservation and to maximize the use of renewable resources. Over the years, from its headquarters in Mérignac near Bordeaux, Cap Ingelec has opened many new branches: Toulouse, Paris, Lyon, Aix-en-Provence, etc. Today, the engineering company has 10 branches.
Over the last few years, our expansion has accelerated having signed major new contracts including one with Evian, the largest food-processing company in France. Our export strategy is based on our Cap DC structure which was created in 2015 and includes 10 subsidiaries throughout the world. Although the company has been multiplying its engineering & construction contracts, it is organised into several major fields of activity in which it has acquired expertise and references of national and international scope.. In addition, we have developed a successful “Key Client” program to manage Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contracts. Cap Ingelec has consistently grown through internal and external (through the purchase of other companies).
On January,1st Jean-Paul Calès, founder of Cap Ingelec, handed over his seat as President to his son Matthieu, who has been with the company since 2011, and has been Managing Director since 2019.
