A new production plant for Just – Evotec Biologics in Toulouse
Just – Evotec Biologics develops biotherapeutic products ; from the design of therapeutic molecules to the design of facilities for their manufacture. A major international programme has been initiated with the start-up of a J.POD® Redmond, WA (US). This first production unit will serve as a model for the J.POD® Toulouse, France (EU), a new production plant located on the Curie campus in Toulouse.
This project has been financed by the government as part of the future investment programme and is also economically supported by the Occitanie region.

Design and implementation of the project by Cap Ingelec
As part of this project, Cap Ingelec is general contractor for the GC2 macro-lot, which includes all the infrastructures linked to the Cleanrooms and their utilities. This is a PMG (Guaranteed Maximum Price) project.
Our scope of work, in a high-stakes schedule, includes the delivery of 3,950 sqm of cGMP cleanrooms, plus the integration of 800 m² of prefabricated cleanrooms (POD not supplied by CAP INGELEC).
These cleanrooms feature HVAC CGMP treatment, with controlled levels of dust, humidity and contamination. They are also supplied with High Current – CFO, Low Current – cfa, BMS/QBMS as well as the various Clean Utilities (EPPI, Pure Steam, Liquid Nitrogen…) and Clean Gases (CO2, O2, Nitrogen, Compressed Air) necessary for the operation of the Just Evotec Biologics process.
Our scope also included an engineering mission for the integration of the Just – Evotec Biologics process. This project was carried out in a strong spirit of cooperation and collaboration with the other General Contractors (GC1 to GC6), making it a success.
