DATA 4 – Madrid

We are proud to be supporting Data 4’s expansion in Spain with the turnkey construction of its third datacentre on its Alcobendas Campus in Madrid. When completed, the 15,000 sq. m., 3-floor building will host 6 computer rooms with 12MW of IT power.

Work began in March 2023, with completion of the shell in December 2023. STEP 1 (6MW IT) is scheduled for delivery in July 2024 and STEP 2 (6MW IT) in March 2025.

As part of this project, Cap Ingelec is carrying out all the building and technical infrastructure work, as well as the fitting-out of the rooms. This project is very demanding in terms of technical and space optimisation, logistics flows and planning.

Our customer has benefited from an effective international support policy thanks to the collaboration and synergy between our French and Spanish teams. We have forged genuine local partnerships with suppliers and subcontractors, enabling us to meet this challenge while ensuring a very low environmental impact. As the new year begins, our site teams remain fully committed to the success of this project!
