PANPHARMA
Key achievements in GMP
Specialising in the manufacture and distribution of injectable medicines, Phanpharma has decided to reconfigure its industrial site at La Selle-en-Luitré (35).
Cap Ingelec is responsible for the design and construction of part of the GMP project, which includes the creation of a new penicillin production unit and the reconfiguration and extension of another.
The operation, on an occupied site and under maintenance in operational conditions (MOC), meets particularly stringent requirements in terms of HSE, deadlines and technical performance.

Our technical expertise in Clean Rooms and White Rooms projects was very useful in this project, enabling us to meet cleanliness classes A, B, C and D in sterile areas. The air pressure cascades implemented and the aeraulic design enabled us to achieve the technical performance required for the critical containment of the production areas, while reducing the operation’s carbon footprint. The project also required optimised Planning and Scheduling in order to organise the work of more than 150 site workers from 20 different companies, working in 3×8 shifts on a busy site in order to guarantee the minimum safety stock of these medicines of major therapeutic interest (MMTI).
The works, which began in January 2023, will result in the first delivery in August 2023 of the rehabilitated part, known as UP2 (Cephalosporin Production Unit), and commissioning and qualification in the first quarter of 2024 for the new UPP (Penicillin Production Unit).
The Panpharma Group has recognised expertise in the development, manufacture and distribution of injectable medicines for healthcare establishments. Since its creation, Panpharma has deliberately specialised in injectable medicines to become one of the leaders in this field. Its wide range of specialities covers the main therapeutic classes, with a predominance in antibiotic therapy. Panpharma products are manufactured to the highest quality standards, mostly at the Group’s production sites in France and Germany.
