Foundation stone laid for the extension to the IN2P3 (CNRS) data centre in Villeurbanne!
On 5 March, the ceremony to lay the foundation stone for the extension of the IN2P3 (CNRS) Computing Centre in Villeurbanne was held, marking the official launch of the work after several years of preparation.
With over 15 years’ experience of working with the CNRS and the IN2P3 computing centre, CAP INGELEC will be responsible for the design and construction of this major project. This state-of-the-art datacentre, with 2 MW of IT power and TIER III certification, will meet the CNRS’s growing computing and data storage needs.
We’re looking forward to seeing this new data centre come into being, and to continuing our commitment alongside the IN2P3 Computing Centre in its strategic missions to support research.
