A new production plant in Toulouse for Just Evotec
Just – Evotec Biologics develops biotherapeutic products, from the design of therapeutic molecules to the definition of the facilities used to manufacture them. A major international programme has been launched with the production start-up of a J.POD® plant in Redmond, WA (US). This first production unit will serve as a model for the J.POD® Toulouse, France (EU) project, a new production plant located on the Curie Campus in Toulouse.
This project has been funded by the government as part of the future investment programme, and is also economically supported by the Occitanie region.

Design and construction of the project by Cap Ingelec
As part of this project, Cap Ingelec is the general contractor for the GC2 macro-lot, which includes all the value-added infrastructures.
Our scope of work, in a high-stakes schedule, includes the delivery of 4,600 sq. metres of cGMP clean rooms, with controlled levels of dust, hygrometry and contamination, all distributed in High Current – CFO, Low Current – cfa (BMS/QBMS, etc.), hydraulics, aeraulics and special fluids. Our scope is completed by a Transverse Process Engineering Mission and is part of a collaborative effort with the other work packages (GC1 to GC6), with the aim of achieving performance qualification in June 2024.
