BOUYGUES TELECOM
A TURNKEY PROJECT
In 2019, telecom operator Bouygues Telecom launched the deployment of its 5G network in France with the renovation or creation of around 100 EDGE data centers in France. Thus, the operator has to design, build and operate new strategic next-generation sites, in order to increase the performance of its network in terms of throughput, latency and quality.
From sites qualified by Bouygues Telecom, mainly urban, Cap Ingelec must study the feasibility and compatibility with the necessary technical integration before designing or renovating the new datacenters.
For more than a year, Cap Ingelec has been simultaneously carrying out several turnkey missions for the deployment of the ” Moco ” of Bouygues Telecom, notably the sites of Notre Dame du Liban, Lens, Massy and Livry Gargan. In addition to these 4 projects currently underway, we are currently undertaking 4 other Moco projects (Saint-Cloud, Villefranche, Archereau and Lille). At the end of September 2020, we delivered the very first new generation EDGE site located in the Seine-Saint-Denis department. Our challenge on this project was, on the one hand, to ensure maximum safety and reliability of operation, and on the other hand, to avoid any type of nuisance, noise, heat, on the environment of the site and the local residents, given its location in a residential area.
