A residual heat recovery unit for L’Occitane en Provence in Manosque (04)

Launch of the residual heat recovery unit for effluents from the Manufacture de L’Occitane en Provence in Manosque (04).

This residual heat recovery facility meets two major challenges for our client:

  • Decarbonize its production site
  • Cooling effluent destined for the wastewater treatment plant

The design carried out by CAP INGELEC has enabled to :

  • Optimize the installation by reusing unused equipment on site
  • Offer an installation that is independent of effluent production, in order to significantly reduce the size of the plant

After 5 months of work and successful commissioning, this new installation now saves 568 MWh per year, which represents :

  • 68% of the site’s energy requirements for the production of hot softened water
  • 138t of CO2 prevented per year, or 78 Paris/New York round trips by plane

Thanks to our client, L’Occitane en Provence for placing their trust in CAP INGELEC, and congratulations to all the teams who carried out this turnkey project with guaranteed performance.
