Collecting waste electrical and electronic equipment

The treatment and recycling of IT waste is a key aspect of our CSR policy. From 19 to 23 June, all our employees were able to bring their personal waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) directly to the branch. Over a hundred kilos of WEEE (telephones, computers, printers, cables, etc.) were collected. The equipment collected will benefit from the expertise of EcoMicro, our partner and key player in recycling and reconditioning, to give it a second life or to be recycled and reinjected into industry. EcoMicro also promotes and supports associations and social reintegration programmes (disability, digital solidarity, etc.).

In addition to the simple collection and recycling service, we wanted a comprehensive service that has both a social and environmental impact:

• Recovering waste whenever possible,
• Local recycling site complying with ICPE standards and certified by eco-organisations,
• Traceability of our waste,
• Destruction of data in accordance with current procedures and standards.
