Stéphanie shares with us her role, the concrete actions she has put in place at Cap Ingelec and her valuable advice on how to better support illness and disability within the company.
People with disabilities make up around 10% of the French population, not including their families and loved ones. They are potentially employees, consumers, suppliers, investors and decision-makers. They all demand the same quality of treatment and protection against discrimination.

In 2023, CAP INGELEC took part for the 1ʳᵉ time in the 𝑫𝒖𝒐𝑫𝒂𝒚 operation. It’s a one-day opportunity for volunteer employees to show their profession and working environment to a person in a 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒑 situation. A time for sharing and discovery: Extended nationwide in 2018 by the Secretary of State for People with Disabilities, the aim of this day is to enable people with disabilities to discover a particular profession as a duo or to create a vocation. On the programme for this day: discovering the profession, active participation, immersion, creating vocations, giving rise to opportunities for future collaborations, overcoming prejudices, changing views on disability… On this occasion and as part of its disability policy, Cap Ingelec was able to form an initial “Duo” at the Paris branch with Sixtine Garnier, BIM coordinator. 𝗟’𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘀 :
